|  | Greetings from Eagle Bay Camp,
I am very excited to announce the first stage of a new program called LIT International. As you may know Eagle Bay has an extensive leadership training program each summer. We currently train over 70 students each summer in areas of leadership and church ministry.
Over the years 100's of students have been trained and our desire has been to expand this program outside of summer months. We believe the partnership between The Vernon School District # 22 and Eagle Bay Camp is a huge step towards this goal. We are very excited for for the opportunity to train and teach students in BC and Alberta who will be elligible for this program.
Dave Fehr is a Christian teacher in Vernon who is passionate about Eagle Bay Camp and student leadership. He developed this program with imput from Eagle Bay and our desire is to teach and train students (while they get their high school education) in leadership and global skills. Our first semester opens this September 2010 and the program semester ends in January with 5 weeks in Panama doing leadership development and making a global impact.
